GIANTS AND UNCERTAIN ATMOSPHERES

Wäinö Aaltonen Museum 2017

Jacob Hashimoto will present three large-scale installations, wall works, drawings, and prints at the Wäinö Aaltonen Museum in Turku, Finland this summer.Hashimoto's art blurs the line between the works and the spaces that they occupy. This is the first time Hashimoto's art is extensively displayed in Finland. He is best known for working with light, kite-like elements, from which he constructs large-scale, minimalistic and colorful tapestries and installations.
