Welcome to a world filled with imagination and creativity. The exhibition shows a new perspective on the medium of watercolour by exploring its crucial role in the development of design. It celebrates the unique contribution of watercolour to pattern creation used in the arts. This is a role that the watercolour technique has played throughout history thanks to its immediacy and versatility. The exhibition presents pattern sketches by famous designers and artists in dialogue with a selection o·f contemporary artworks by Jacob Hashimoto, Yinka Shonibare, Shahzia Sikander, and Henrik Vibskov.
